Friday 26 September
It is all go at the moment!! We look like swelling the attendance at Market Rasen on Sunday when 30 of us show up with Kikos who has been declared to run in the 5.10.It really is fabulous to have so many Club members and guests come to support their horse and there really should be a super atmosphere on the day.We do like to run the horses at a time when most of the owners can get there, and they are certainly out in force on Sunday. Kikos himself is very well, bloods and scope are very good so we hope that he enjoys his first spin over the big ones and does us proud.Sam has schooled him at home and is very pleased with him. Whatever the outcome we will learn a lot about him,and it should be onwards and upwards therafter. Brett the Vet was in this morning to scope a few and the good news is that Rousing Rob has only a slight bit of mucus and a short course of antibiotics (luckily the cheaper ones) will see him right and he will continue as planned. Important Business is now being ridden again as he does just not do relaxing and is far happier doing! He is being walked and trotted around the farm with Harriets ponies.Bobby Gee is going really well, doing 2 full canters, he looks amazing and there is now just 1/4 share left for sale, he will be ready to run in about 5 weeks. Matty will be entered for Towcester and Wincanton the week after next and fingers crossed he will get a run.
