On and Off

Bobby Gee who has been in rude health for the past few weeks, was declared this morning for a fixed brush race at Haydock. This was a race that we had had in mind for him for a few weeks, and once again as we seem to get everything in our favour the racing gods do their worst and the meeting has just been abandoned as I write (at 3.15pm). Bobby was entered this morning for a 0-135 race at Wincanton on Saturday, and he may well go there, but it is far from ideal as we are returning to the higher grade and the track is not sure to suit, just one word for our luck at the moment -Bo****ks!! On the good news front - E Major has scoped clean this morning and schooled very very well with Bobby Gee, who had to go a bit to keep up. EM will be entered for Ludlow next Monday. Matty also scoped clean and heads to Fakenham on Thursday with Brian Twoomey in the plate, Brian was with B Powell, but has moved to Donald McCain and is one of the best Amateur Riders in the country. IB is fine after his run, and will now have an easy few weeks until we get better ground.
