A Day In The Sunshine
Both of yesterdays runners seem to be fine after their races, and enjoyed a long day in the paddock today enjoying the amazing spring sunshine that we had. All of the rest worked really well, Kikos and Mattaking who both schooled really well yesterday, worked very well today - Kikos is entered at Leicester on Tuesday and is likely to run with the weather set fair, and Mattaking will have entries from Monday onwards. E Major who has still not been able to school, did do his best piece of work since arriving, so we look forward to getting him on the track,he is entered at Ludlow on Thursday, and Important Business cantered and also looked really well in the sunshine. In the afternoon it was off to Horseheath to the Thurlow Point to Point, and we had a really nice afternoon in the sunshine at the Cambridgshire track. The Horse purchased last year to run in Point to Points is nearly ready to run, and should be out in the next 2 - 3 weeks. He has been named Noble Rebellion, and I will keep you up to speed on his progress.HAPPY BIRTHDAY Jay Tabb!! Jay was at Sandown yesterday to see his horse Bobby Gee run so well, and he celebrates his Birthday today by being named on the bench for his side Reading, who are currently third in the Championship. It will be his first go in the match day squad since his January transfer window move from Coventry.
