Nearly There

An autumnal feel and a good work morning at Fences Farm this morning, and we are so nearly there with the syndicate horses now. Bobby worked well with Malarky and has an entry at Haydock on Thursday, but as predicted he will have to take on the likes of Sunnyhillboy, a 142 rated listed hurdle winner and Jonjo's horse to follow for the season, and off level weights, Bobs will struggle so he will not be going there. He will now have an entry for a 0-120 Novice Chase at Market Rasen on Sunday and this is very much the preferred target. Jardin De Vienne also worked well with Rock Wren, and has an entry for Fontwell on Friday and will also be put in at Sandown on Saturday (preferred). Rousing Rob worked well with Il Duce and will need a couple more bits of fast work to be ready for a bumper. A stiff track on soft ground would be ideal. Good to see Phil Haslam and Daughters up this morning, and hopefully the next time we see him will be in the paddock with his horse - it has been a long time in coming!!
