Stuck In The Mud

Thr ground at Wincanton yesterday looked absoulutely atrocious! And poor little Willow Wren just got stuck in the mud. It was not her running at all, jumping left at every hurdle and thoroughly disliking the experience, she did at least come through the race OK and is now qualified for a handicap mark, and on better ground and possibly going left handed she should be in the shake up! Good luck to Michael and Fiona Kehoe who run a few over the weekend in point to points. I am especially keen to see how Ringa Bay gets on, as he is due to make his debut this side of the Irish Sea after finishing a good second on his debut back in Ireland last year. If anyone is reading this (unlikely I know) and knows of anyone that is looking for a horse, then please get in touch, as I have a fellow to rehome. He is part owned by one of our owners, and although not trained at Fences Farm, he has asked me to see if I can find a good home for this chap, as he feels that retirement is the best option after he suffered a recurrence of a minor leg injury, so get in touch if you feel you, or someone you know, can give this horse a good home.(07909 518902)
