Natural

This morning Colebrooke had his first sight of an obstacle. Stuart had him in the jumps field and showed him a couple of poles and then something a little more solid and he just hacked in on a long rein and popped them nicely. By the end of his very short session he was skipping over the baby hurdle! So this all augers well for his future career as a hurdler - he seems a complete natural! His new owners are due to be with us tomorrow to see him, after which he will go out in the field for a short break before starting his new career proper. His sire did have a very good winner of a hurdle race at Plumpton yesterday as well!
