Friday 3 June
We all have our fingers crossed today, as it is the day that the vet will make a decision about the immediate future of Bobby Gee. Having had 2 chips removed from his hock all seemed well, but when they carried out the proceedure, and were in the joint with a camera, they saw that he had some extensive wear to his cartilage. This has been medicated, but the hock is still swollen, although Bobs is sound and quite happy in himself. Today we will find out where we go with him. A couple of owners join us tomorrow to see Kikos do his penultimate piece of fast work before his run next Friday - he remains in top form! Colebrooke and Ogee are in from the field, and it will not be long before they arte striding up the gallops - I can't wait to see Colebrooke over hurdles!!
