Fingers Crossed!

The wet weather is playing havoc with plans - but we continue to make entries and hope that we can get to the course! Smart Exit, Norse Wren and Reyno, are all in at Fontwell on Wednesday, but that does not look good, as it is waterlogged in places with more rain to come (the Clerk is not optimistic). Smart Exit, Genny Wren and Norse Wren are also in at Taunton on Thursday. The preferred option for SE is Fontwell, but we have Taunton as cover. Tannerman and Reyno are entered in Doncaster on Friday. Tannerman worked very well on Saturday, and his jumping is coming together again. Sam will be in this week to have a sit on him. We feel that Tannerman would be better on a sounder surface, and Doncaster is currently only Good To Soft, Good In Places, so at the moment it looks like he could be heading there. If he gets his jumping together he will run very very well! Colebrooke is back on track after a foot infection and will have an entry in Leicester on Sunday, he will go on testing conditions, but will not be pulled about on near unraceable conditions!! The weekends racing gave a big boost to two of our boys. San Telm was paid a massive compliment by Yesyoucan who won the 2m 4f hcp Hurdle in Haydock on Saturday. ST had beaten him there, so his form looks rock solid! ST will could be out again on 15th December, or we may wait until the end of December with him. Also up in Haydock Benefit Cuts full brother won the bumper in impressive fashion, and looks like a very nice prospect for staying races in the future. BC is in good form and will be aimed at races around the 14th and 15th of December.
