Sunday 23 September
The first runners of the 2018/19 season proper are very close now - It was a busy morning at Fences Farm - Good to see John, Olllie, and Lady Bev, along with a few others, one of which had winners in the yard a good few years ago! First lot, Pull Together, Now McGinty and Queenohearts slipped on for the first time, they have only been hack cantering up until yesterday - and they all looked to enjoy themselves. As you can see from the clip, Pull Together really picked up the bridle and looked in awesome form! The impressive 3 yr old San Seb worked first lot, and went very well upsides a work mate. He is still on course to make his bumper debut in early October, and looks a really nice prospect. He can be seen working near side in front. Second lot, Molly Childers worked with Theclockisticking and Maria's Benefit. with Clondaw Native, and Ciaran on Classic Ben in behind. This lot worked really well, and they will soon be back on track. Ciaran was delighted with CB - he has really strengthened from last season, and is moving great. We had to wait until third lot to see the remainder of ours out, as Dave Lynn and Savannah could only get there for 10.30 to see their horses, Kaloci annd Lily. Harriett reported kaloci to be in rude health, and just like the angry ant we knew from last season. Ciaran rode Our Bubba, and still loves him - suggesting that he needs to find a friend to buy him so that he can definitely keep the ride! OB is a really nice horse, a top prospect, who I have an option to syndicate. If I do - there will be just one 1/4 share available - so if anyone is interested - then please get in touch - you will not regret it!! 07909 518902. Our Bubba slipped on yesterday and looked very impressive - he was upsides the pocket rocket that is Lily. She had been asked to go quicker for the first time earlier in the week, and Stuart was delighted with her, and yesterday she showed that she really likes to get on with things - she is just like Kaloci - really tough and doesn't like to get beat! There are just a couple of shares left in her - get in touch!
