Classic Ben is declared to run in Sandown tomorrow, in the £50,000 3m Masters Chase. It had been the plan to run in the Skybet Chase a couple of weeks ago, but it wasn't possible, so this is the next best option. The next possible entry for him would have been in Kempton, but the quick nature of that track wasn't sure to suit - so tomorrow it is. Classic Ben is in good form - he was a very good third in Doncaster on his last run, staying on very well from the back of the last, and the Sandown stamina test should play to his strengths. He was second in a red hot bumper there last season, so we know he goes well at the Esher track. It was Good To Soft on that day, and that is the ground he encounters tomorrow, so hopefully he will run well, and belie his odds. Lilly's Arc has a couple of entries in mares bumpers. She is in at Ayr next Wednesday, and Huntingdon next Thursday. Where she goes will very much depend on ground as she needs a soft surface. She has been working really well at home alongside some very nice horses, and if we can get her out in the right race she looks sure to run very well indeed. There is just one share left if you would like to get involved in this talented little girl before she runs - if she runs well, I may just keep the share for myself!! 07909 518902. Queenohearts is on target for her next run in Sandown on the 15th. Land League returns from The Elms on Monday, and I can't wait to see him back on track! Getaway Mixie is cantering and going nicely. Figarella Borget will be back up to speed soon after her little break, and Our Bubba has come out of his race in Uttoxeter last week in good form. Molly Childers will head to a Listed chase in Exeter later this month. It was a well timed visit to The Elms yesterday - I was there to see Tim Kent, from Goffs UK, who was in to see some of the youngstock we have there, who will be heading to the sales later in the year. He was impressed with what he saw, and his views on them were very favourable. While I was there a new acquisition arrived - another one by our favourite sire, Mamool, that I purchased out of the sale in Fairyhouse this week. He is a cracking yearling, out of a half sister to Mariah Rollins and Pendra, who were both very good black type performers. He has a lovely way with him, and he will be For Sale in the future - you never know we may even form another syndicate - as the Mamool stock that we have bought have all been winners, and he has quite a fan club out there with those that have had anything to do with them! Please let me know if you are interested in joining one of our new EIS investment syndicates - and I will fill you in with the details. These are very tax efficient, and are a fun way to invest, as you get to see the young stock grow and develop, along with trips to studs in both the UK and Ireland, that will be tied in with some big race meetings. Probably a better way to use money that getting a very small interest rate at the bank!! firstname.lastname@example.org for further details. There is very limited availability in the last syndicate for 2019 now!
