Plans In Place

A quiet couple of weeks with very few runners - but a chance to go through the books and put some plans in place for the remainder of the season. Classic Ben is fine after his run in Haydock, and has been signed off by Rhian who has been helping him since his fall in Sandown. He will return there for the Masters Chase that he won last season. Molly Childers will go back over fences to help her breathing, and heads to Catterick at the end of the month, and will stay in Mares staying chases for the rest of the season, culminating in a run in Cheltenham in April. Go Millie Go has entries in Doncaster and Exeter next week, originally she was destined to go to Doncaster, but mid morning today, it very much looked like that was going to be a very competitive heat - and the Exeter novices hurdle looked far less competitive, so with Stuart sunning himself in Barbados - Harriet gave her an entry there too. We will look at both races, and decide where to go later, Exeter is not ideal, but the strength of that heat could sway us that way. Figarella Borget is now doing plenty of work, and is starting to go a shade quicker, along with Hi Ho Silva Lining. FB should be back when the better going arrives, and HHSL should make his debut in a bumper in the spring, along with Blue Bikin who is progressing as expected, and looks like a nice filly for a filly and mares bumper in a few weeks time. Fergal O'Brien reports that Yauthym is in good form after her very promising debut in Doncaster. He reiterated that Paddy Brennan was very impressed with her, and thinks highly of her - she will have a good gap between her runs - and will stick to fillys juvenile hurdles for the remainder of the season - there is a strong programme of races for these fillys, and as she was claimed specifically for them - she will stick to the plan. Land League is having an easier time of things as he has had a busy summer, and he will be back running in a few weeks. Our Bubba is recovering well from his latest little set back, and will be another to be out when the better ground is about - He will appreciate a sounder surface, and will start of again over hurdles before going chasing where he will certainly be seen at his best. I have already got a few names for a new partnership that we will be putting together in the next few weeks. We are in the process of sourcing a horse to run through the summer months - if you are interested in joining in a new 7 strong partnership, then please let me know, and I will add you to the list. Looking to the future, we will also be adding different types of ownership models to the ones we already provide, and also adding more trainers to our roster, which will mean that we will be able to offer shares in horses in different parts of the country - so stay tuned for these exciting developments in the near future.
