Classic Ben

A share has become availabe in Classic Ben. A tough, talented and consistant performer, the eight year old Ben is nearing a return to the track next month. Purchased from the Irish Point to Point field, Classic Ben was second in two very decent bumpers before winning his next two starts in novice hurdles. He continued to ply his trade over hurdles that season, being narrowly beaten off of a mark of 130 in Doncaster. The next season saw him switch to fences, keeping good company, and running some very good races before capturing the £50,000 Masters Chase in Sandown - a course he really seems to like. He remained in good heart last season without quite getting his head in front, a season that was cut slightly short when he was found to have a bone chip in a joint which has been succesfully removed. He is now in full training, and will be ready to run in December. Classic Ben is trained by Stuart Edmunds, near Milton Keynes, as he has been since his arrival from Ireland. T
