4th August

It is moving towards that time of year when hopes and dreams start to take a bit of a hold with your thoughts, and we start dreaming of winners to come throughout the new season. It is a fantastic time of year, all the horses look really really well, those that are running are running well, and those that are cantering are going about their business in good style. It is also the time of year when a few old faces return to the fold, and today Bobby Gee came back in. He has summered very well at Ann Garratts Ringtail Farm, but if I know Bobby he will relish being back in work. Bobby is the best horse in the yard on official figures, and I can't wait to see him back on the track. He is rated 122 over hurdles, and we think he is well handicapped on this mark, so we will try and win another race over the smaller obstacles before going chasing, where, being such a natural jumper he should really shine. I think Bobby has the class and bravery to be a 140-150 rated chaser, and as such should be contesting some of the biggest races at the best tracks in the coming months. Bobby is now for sale, and any interested parties should give me a call or send me an email as soon as possible as chances to buy into a horse of this quality are rare!! 1/8 shares are priced at £4000 plus an all inclusive monthly training fee of £200. Rousing Rob and Kikos take a step closer to the track today when they start to do some slow and steady canters. I hope their jockeys all sit tight!!
