Saturday 20 September

What a beautiful morning!! Nick walton enjoyed seeing an early morning so much last Saturday, that he did it again. It was good to see him, and first lot we saw Ogee and Important Business breeze before their runs tomorrow at Uttoxeter. Both went well and are in good form, Ogee is a liitle lazy and hard to guage at home, but he seems well and Important Business is his usual exuberant self. Second lot saw a few more owners out to enjoy the Autumn sun. The Haslams were out in force to see their horse Rousing Rob go very well. Rob is in good form and showing uo well, he will be ready to go in about 10 days, and we will look for a bumper for him. The Hornbys were also up the hill to see their boy Kikos go really well also. Kikos will have an entry for a handicap chase at Market Rasens big meeting next Sunday. Don Mcgeachy showed up later on to cast his eye over proceedings, and put the world to rights. It's off to Staffs. Tomorrow, let's hope it is a good day. Mrs Robeson is still very annoyed that she did not get a win out of Ogee or Important Business so it would be great if one or both could get his head in front.
