It could be busy at the end of the week, with Mattaking entered at Southwell, and Kikos entered to make his chasing debut at Market Rasen. Matty is 55:45 to get in, so fingers crossed with him as the ground should be ideal, and he enjoys the 'French' style of hurdle, and Kikos is in a 2 1/4 mile handicap chase, which may be a bit on the short side for him, but we need to start somewhere, and looking at his last hurdle race at Bangor for Alan King you can make a case for him not actually staying the 2 1/2 miles, so we thought we would start here and learn about him for ourselves. Whatever happens it should be very informative. Just a little note about the boys from Sunday - both seem well and will have a few days off to get over their runs. I must just point out what a fantastic training performance it was by Mrs Robeson, Stuart and all the team to get Important Business to the races, never mind finish second, Their efforts, along with a fantastic job by Ed Brett from the Hampden Veterinary Hospital got the fellow to the track, as 6 weeks ago he got very badly cast and was very lame indeed. He needed some serious treatment to his back at the hospital, and then a continued regime of massage and manipulation from his very dedicated lass, Alice to get him back racing. Myself and all of the owners are very grateful indeed. Thanks to all.
