Sunday 5 October

As I said yesterday, Uttoxeter really is a happy hunting ground for Mrs Robeson, and yesterday was no exception. Troglodyte ran a blinder to be third on his first run for 19 months. Always in the front rank he ran a great race to finish 11 lengths behind a very well regarded winner from the Jonjo O'neill yard. His run was another indication that the horses are fit and very healthy. Mattaking and Ogee should both get a run at Towcester on Wednesday, so hopes are high for another good day. Ogee has the form in the book to go close in his race and I think new tactics could be the answer to Mattaking and he could run very well also. He will either make us look very clever or idiots, let's hope it is not the latter!!
