Kikos seems to be fine after his gallant second on Saturday. He came home and ate up, will now have a few days off before being ridden again in a couple of days and we will look for a race for him in 2-3 weeks. Important Business is in grand form, and if he continues to buck and kick his way around the place then we may be forced to run him in the next week or so, possibly at Fakenham a week today. Mattaking will be ridden today for the first time since his upside down tricks at Leicester, he seems none the worse for it, and will do plenty of schooling before we see him back on the course. Bobby Gee is in super form, and may go to Wetherby in mid December or possibly Sandown on Tingle Creek day. We went to the Tingle Creek meeting with Olney Lad one year,it was the race in which Moscow Flyer beat Azertyuiop, and Well Chief, when Barry Geraghty did that cheeky long look round as they turned into the home straight. It was a great race to watch and the roar from the crowd just made the hairs on the back of your neck stand up. It will be good to go there again.E Major is working well, and we will hopefully see him in about 3 weeks, and it was good to see Phil Haslam and Tom Short, who are both members of The Chicheley Partnership who are leasing E Major for the season, up the gallops on Saturday. I think they were both pleased with their new little man.
