The box will be leaving on another trip to Lambourn today, with Ogee and Bobby Gee on board, to have a schooling session on the artificial surface down there. The ground is so firm at Fences Farm that it is just not possible to school anything on the grass, so these trips are vital. Ogee needs to refresh his skills before his next run, and it has been decided to give Bobby a go as he is going really well at home and it is the right time for him to have a school over the bigger obstacles. He jumped them well at the end of last season, so it should be a good reminder. Talking of schooling - Jardin De Vienne did some more grid work yesterday, and did it very well - he obviously learnt from Saturdays session and did it all very well - he can jump, (finished up yesterday popping over 3'6"+) it just seems as though he did not know how to do it properly, even though he has had numerous hurdle races and even a chase!! It can only bode well for the future. College Ace seems fine after his run at Stratford.
