Sunday 4 October

Ogee maintained his 100% record over the bigger obstacles when running away with the novices chase at Uttoxeter this afternoon. With only four runners it looked like a good opportunity, although the second and third are rated 130. Ogee jumped well and galloped away from Shore thing after jumping 3 out and won by a mere 49 lengths!! He looks like being the real deal over fences, and is a great flagship for the yard. Mrs Robeson was not at Uttoxeter, chosing instead to be at Longchamp where Crystal Capella took part in the Prix De L'Opera, a Group 1 for fillies and mares. CC has been off since giving weight and a beating to Dar Re Mi at York in May (form that now looks very good). She was unlucky today, never getting a rhythm, and not getting a clear passage, finishing in mid division.
