Thursday 12 November

Bobby Gee had a pop up the chase fences yesterday, and I am pleased to report that all is well. He seems to have come out of his Market Rasen run in grand form, and the way he jumped yesterday suggests that he has lost none of his enthusiasm for chasing. In fairness to him it would be a surprise if he had changed his attitiude, as he does not really know anything went wrong, apart from the fact that he did not jump the last three, and was missing 11 stone 3 lbs from his back over the last 1/2 mile! As I mentioned yesterday he could be going to some very big meetings over the next few months, and is likely to kick off at Newbury on Hennessy Day, so if you would like to be part of this very exciting chaser then get in touch. (07909 518902) Jardin De Vienne is bouncing as well, and the handicapper has been kind enough to drop him 4 lbs, so we will look for another race for him in a week or two. The next intended runner from the yard is Il Duce in the Paddy Power Gold Cup at Cheltenham on Saturday. He seems to be in fine form, and very much ready to run, and if he can run as well as he has done in the last 2 renewals of the race everyone will be delighted. (fourth 2008, second 2007)
