Friday 27 November
The members of The Oakley Partnership will have a day to savour tomorrow, when their horse Bobby Gee runs in the Novices Handicap Chase on Hennessy Day. Bobby has really taken them to the top tracks - last year they were in the paddock at Cheltenham, and with a bit of luck Bobby will run a big race tomorrow. This is a race in which quite a few of the runners look exposed off of their current marks, and Bobby would stand a good each way chance. The likely winner looks to be Quinz from the Phillip Hobbs yard, but Bobby is sure to run his usual honest race. Disappointment at Uttoxeter yesterday - Millarky had been working well at home, and looked well treated for his chase debut of of 77, but a problem surfaced half way down the back, and he could well now have a date with the vets!
