It looks as though there will be some jockey changes on Sunday. Sam will not be fit to ride at the weekend and will be back in action by the middle of next week, so we need a new pilot or two for Sunday. If Rousing Rob gets in we may look at the experience of Jimmy Macarthy, but I am keen to continue to claim off of Jardin De Vienne as he is likely to find himself at, or near to the top of the weights, so a good conditional will be sought, and we will see who is available tomorrow. Talking of jockeys - yet again A P McCoy has missed out on the nominations for BBC Sports Personality Of The Year, AMAZING!! What does the man have to do, in the year that he rides his 3000th winner and takes the Championship for the 14th time, he is still not good enough to make the 'top ten' sportsmen/sportswomen of the year - just one word for that - RUBBISH! (edited version).Needless to say he is a legend, and very much appreciated where it matters most - on the racecourse, but a bit of wider recognition would have been oh so good for the sport!
