Happy New Year! Lots to look forward to in 2010 - the return of Kikos (running in March) along with Important Business and Mattaking after injury (Back at Fences in early March), and of course Bobby Gee getting to grips with chasing and winning again (scoped dirty today, so not going to Leicester next week). Jardin De Vienne was due to get us rolling, but he will miss Folkestone on Saturday as their ground is very bad. He is working well and the blinkers seem to have just pepped him up a bit. I am sure we can get a win out of him in the not too distant future. Il Duce is off to Cheltenham tomorrow, and Sam rides. Sam was up yesterday and schooled Bobby Gee who was very good. His run at Huntingdon on Boxing Day appears to have got his confidence back, but we are still contemplating a run back over hurdles - he will continue to be schooled intensively, and a decision will be made when he is ready to run.
