Tuesday 26 January
Both Bobby Gee and Jardin De Vienne seem fine after their trip to Market Rasen at the weekend. I have watched both races several times and like Sam I am convinced that JDV will win a race - he really did just get stuck in the mud turning into the home straight, and on better ground he will be well handicapped. We will continue to run him, and try and find better going, but if we don't and he gets beat, then he will continue to drop down the ratings ready to pounce when he gets his prefered surface.
Galoshes is declared to run at Huntingdon tomorrow afternoon, Sam takes the ride. I will be heading to Doncaster Sales to buy a foal, so if you would like to beat the stock market and the banks interest rate and invest in some bloodstock let me know. (07909 518902). Just as a little tempter, Stuart tells me that an, as yet unraced horse did a really good piece of work this morning, and could be a very nice one for the future - I hope so - as he has always liked this one since he broke it in in 2009!!
