Thursday 1 April

Fences Farm will be blessed with two more high class recruits next season, that will no doubt be heading to the Festival! The move has come as a result of the fine form of Kikos last season, when he went from 97 to a 120 rated chaser, and developed quite a fan club. Barry Simpson - Racing Manager for Sir Robert Ogden was not blind to the improvement in his former charge and has said that he will send 2 top class performers, and a French bred youngster called Poisson D'Avril to Fences Farm after their summer breaks. We can only image which horses will be coming - but it is very exciting and just reward for Mrs Robeson and her team who put a great deal of skill and effort into producing these winning performances from their charges. We met up with a few folks last night at the lecture given by Geoff Lane on Breathing Problems in Horses, and although we did not learn a lot it was a good night out, and a chance to discuss future plans regarding Bobby Gee and his breathing problem. No runners Saturday or Sunday, but E Major may go to Fakenham (if the ground is right for him) on Monday.
