Bobby Gee will return to Fences Farm today to continue his recovery from surgery. As mentioned yesterday if the op works and he finds that he can breath again, Bobby will be well handicapped and should go on to run very well next season - there is still a 1/8 share available in him, so if you are interested then please give me a call. I still retain all of my faith in Bob and really feel that the best is yet to come, even at 9 years old, as he is lightly raced, and has been suffering with his breathing for a little while now. Not such a good day at Royal Ascot yesterday, and no chance to study form today, but I would love to see Henry Cecil win the Gold Cup again, as it just re-ignites the memories of Le Moss and Ardross galloping up the home straight to win. As you know I am in the process of putting together a new Partnership, and am considering a number of options, one of which, is to syndicate my 2 yr old Kayf Tara filly now, and lease a horse to run until she comes in training next year - again please let me know if you would be interested in doing this, it is something I have done in the past and it has worked well, as you have the dream of the future, with a bit of instant fun. The filly is by top British based sire, Kayf Tara, out of a half sister to Grey Shot, who was a top class performer. She has a fabulous pedigree, and is the most beautiful mover (third in the foal show at Doncaster). She is incredibly athletic and looks like a smashing prospect. She was broken-in in the spring at Fences Farm and is now back out at grass to strengthen and mature. She will come back in next spring to continue her education before coming into training proper in the Autumn. I will need to know the level of interest quite quickly, because if there are not enough interested parties then I will get a horse at the sales in Ireland next week. Give me a call on 07909 518902.
