Monday, Tuesday , Happy Dayz!!.... you know how it goes, well yesterday (Wednesday) was a truly Happy Day at York for Mrs Robeson and her team at Southcourt Stud. York will have to be chalked down as her second favourite track (surely Uttoxeter still tops that list), she won the Juddmonte International there with Notnowcato,Crystal Capella was a Group 2 winner there,and yesterday she was very close to securing a high profile double.The Fonz kicked things off in the opener, staying on stoutly under a masterful Kieren Fallon to repel all raiders and land a decent handicap. Interesting to hear Fallon say after the race on Channel 4 to John Francome, that The Fonz would make someone a lovely horse to go jumping.... . Fallon was then heard to say that he thought Rosika was the one to beat in the Ebor, and he was so nearly right, a battling second place to show for her efforts, and an excellent run. Well done to everyone, and as mentioned yesterday it shows there can be enjoyment gleaned from watching horses that don't know how to jump!!!
