Monday 20 September

Apologies for the lack of updates last week - difficult to do from a tractor seat!! Things have been moving on well at Fences Farm, Kikos and Bobby Gee both have entries at Worcester on Friday, Bobby is in a 2m 7f Beginners Chase, as well as a 2m 4f handicap chase in which Kikos also has an entry. Kikos is also in a 2m 0-135 handicap chase. A decision will be made later in the week on each of their likely targets. Bobby will also be entered in a handicap chase at Market Rasen on Saturday.Sam is banned so jockey bookings will be on a 'best availablr' basis - we will try to get A P McCoy for Kikos, but he may well have to ride one for his boss, so one of the lads could well step in for a nice couple of rides! I will discuss details with Mrs Robeson this week. Omaruru is stepping on the gas now, he has been working very well, and looks likely to run at Huntingdon on Sunday October 3rd, he has been intensively schooled and has really taken to the job, so he is an exciting prospect!! Shares still remain in him so please get in touch, only £400 + £20/week!! Robo has just started to quicken up and is still an exciting prospect - having thought he was sold out, he may not be, so if you fancy a proper novice chaser give me a ring! Bobby Gee and Kikos were both scoped and blood tested earlier in the week and both are A1, so it will hopefully be a good day on Friday. The new season is just around the corner, and things are starting to get very exciting!! Alistair Downs piece on Lawney and Alan Hill in todays Post is well worth a read, although I am not sure about the red dress!
