Friday 26 November

We have made a few decisions about running plans over the next few weeks. Kikos won't be - he is on holiday and will have a breathing op over Christmas/New Year. Omaruru will be heading to Warwick on Sunday 5th December, or if the ground is unsuitable he could go to Bangor On Dee on the 6th. His blood tests and scope today prove that he is in rude health. Robo will be prepared for a tilt at a Grade 2 Novice Chase at Cheltenham on December 11th, he too is in rude health and we think that the time is right to see what we have got! If the ground comes up too soft we will press pause again and go somewhere over the festive season. Bobby Gee seems fine after his win and I am keen to revisit the scene of this weeks victory. He will go up 7-8lbs, so a step up in grade is on the cards, and there is a 0-130 handicap chase back at Lingfield on 11th of December. The 11th could be a very busy day as Ogee looks like going to Doncaster if the ground is suitable, so it will be all hands to the pump that day!! We now have a couple of shares for sale in Kikos as 2 folks have left the group that own him. Please get in touch, as this ultra consistent horse will be back winning in the spring after his wind op. He has been struggling to breathe for his last few races, and as a result is 7lbs below his last winning mark, and when his wind is sorted and he gets his favoured quick ground in the spring he will take a deal of beating again.
