Thanks to Nicole Langstaff, who got in touch yesterday to flag up the fact that Kikos's 5 year old full sister called Niki Royal had won a Mares Maiden Point To Point in Ireland recently. It is great to see the family doing well, and hopefully she can go on from here and take her pointing form to the racetrack, she is in the same ownership as Notre Pere, so she is in good company. Thanks again to Nicole, who with her partner Dale bred and raced Cyd Charisse, who many will remember at Fences Farm. Cyd won several races before an injury interupted her career, and was put in foal to Midnight Legend. Earlier this year she had a lovely colt foal, which is now weaned, and we very much hope he can go on to be as successful as his mum! Warwick looks a little less likely today - the forecast says that temperatures will not rise as much as predicted yesterday, and with more snow falling here again this morning prospects look a little bleak.Stuart has all the team primed and ready to run, so they have not experienced any hold ups, it's just a case of getting some racing on. My spies tell me that Robo was electric agagin yesterday - surely it will be warmer by Cheltenham! If not it will have to be the Feltham at Kempton on Boxing Day - he could be our first Grade 1 runner!!
