Wednesdsay 19 January
The vet was out yesterday evening to give Bobby Gee a once over after his day out at Warwick on Saturday, and I am pleased to report that there are no problems. He has had a few days off since the weekend, and will now start to canter again. He has been dropped 2 lbs for Saturday, so will now get into a 0-125 handicap, and we will scour the programme book to see what is about. Omaruru is in great old form, but we will be patient with him, and stick to the plan of running him next month, and then again in March before giving him a good long break over the summer. Kikos will be back to Fences Farm when his throat is healed. He is on the walker and has recovered well from his op. Please remember there are still shares available in both Kikos and Omaruru, Kikos is a 3 times winner and has the form in the book - he is also well handicapped on his current mark after his breathing op, and Omaruru is rated 118 after 4 runs over 2 miles and is crying out for a step up in trip. All in all 2 really nice horses who should be winning sooner rather than later. Give me a ring on 07909 518902.
