Omaruru has three entries at the weekend. He is in 2 races at Sandown - the opening Juvenile Hurdle, which is not as hot as I was expecting it to be, but has still attracted some pretty decent performers, and the Novices Handicap, which looks an ultra competitive heat! His third entry is at Fontwell on Sunday in another Juvenile Hurdle, over the slightly longer trip of 2 miles 2 1/2 furlongs.This looks the best opportunity of the three, with in my opinion only one horse to beat. Omaruru will also have an entry at Market Rasen later on next week, and the best option will be decided on when we see all the entries in all races. Fontwell at the moment does look favourite though. Stuart will collect Kikos from Michael and Fiona Kehoes tomorrow,he is fully recovered from his wind operation, and will resume pre training immediately. I am sure that his breathing has been holding him back for a while, and that he is now well handicapped as a result. The operation should also enable him to see out a slightly further trip and open up many more opportunties for the big chesnut!
