Thursday 5 May

Kikos has been declared to run at Aintree tomorrow evening. Too early to assess the strength of the race as declarations have not closed, but our fellow is in great form (he has come on for his Towcester run) and with the ground Good To Firm,Good in places it is right up his street. Having a peek at his form - he has run 4 times on Good to Firm ground - winning 3 of them!! There is rain forecast in North West, and if the ground should go to the soft side of good he will not run, so if anyone has any doubts about him running before they set off, then please give me a call.Stuart is off to pick up the latest addition to the ranks later this morning. He is a gorgeous 4 yr old, by Exit To Nowhere, out of an unraced half sister to top hurdler Mighty Mogul. He is a half brother to two winners, including the very exciting Sin Bin, who won a bumper on his racecourse debut in great style a couple of weeks ago, and is in training with Paul Nicholls and owned by Trevor Hemmings, and the high class Line Ball. Our new boy will be ridden away for a couple of days before going out in the field for a little holiday. He will return to pre training in early July and should be on a racecourse around October. He will be cantering past his new owners on Saturday morning.
