The 'pocket rocket' that is Amistress ran a blinder yesterday to win at Lingfield under Seb Sanders. Amistress, bred by Mrs Robeson and her brother at Southcourt Stud has been a model of consistency this summer, and could well keep improving! The good thing is that every time she wins she franks the form of our own Colebrooke, who was 3 lengths behind her at Nottingham in April, giving her a whopping 11 lbs! Makes our chap look OK! Mrs Robeson will be off to Newmarket this afternoon to see Crystal Capella contest the Group 2 Princess of Wales' Stakes, and hopefully she can follow Amistress into the winners enclosure. If she does she will be the middle leg of a possible treble for Southcourt this week as 2 yr old Ruselliana contests the Cherry Hinton on Friday - an impressive winner at Leicester on debut, she falls in the 'could be anything' category! I will make a flying visit to Newmarket this evening with Stuart and Ed 'the vet' Brett to have a look at a possible hurdling candidate that goes through the ring tomorrow, he looks a lovely sort with size and scope to do the job, but we want Ed to cast his eye over him before we commit ourselves! Back at home - Grey Bobby and 'Exit' have both been ridden, and are getting back in the swing of things,
