Omaruru came home yesterday! We are so pleased to have him back at Fences Farm after his near miss with colic. Thanks go To Prof. Tim Greet and his team at Rossdales who did a fantastic job and have been excellent with their communication in keeping Myself, Stuart and Mrs Robeson all up to date with his condition. I will get over to see him tonight, but Stuart says he has lost lots of muscle, and his regime, now that he is home will be harder work than if he was in full training. He will be led out several times a day to pick at grass, but cannot be let loose as this could lead to a rupture, so his care will continue to be very intensive. We hope to have him back for a spring campaign! Kikos is in flying form - bucking around his stable when we got back from the races on Friday, so yesterday he had an entry at Huntingdon on Sunday. He looks like an intended runner - The Fonz is also entered on the same card.E Major is an intended runner at Fontwell on Saturday. Colebrooke has come out of his Plumpton spin in great form, and will be aimed at either Chepstow (tough) on the 8th or Uttoxeter (easier) on the 13th of October. The disappointment of last week was Grey Bobby, and he has been immediately transfered into the point to point field. He will have a break and then come back to contest his maiden, and we wish his new connections luck with him - I will be amazed if he doesn't win a good few in that sphere. The wait goes on with regard to the horse we tried to buy on Friday, but I should know something later today or tomorrow, and we should be trying out some unraced horses on Friday. I have plenty of people on the look out for nice horses for us, and I am sure that we will be making some signings (2 possibly 3) in the next few weeks.
