Thursday 3 November

San Telm had a skip up the hurdles yesterday and did it all very well. He is progressing very well, but despite his excellent schooling technique he is likely to make his debut for the Tyringham Partnership in a bumper. This way we will get to know a lot more about him, and can then make a plan. Smart Exit also schooled up nicely, and his next run will be over hurdles. Colebrooke has come out of his race in fighting form! Someone needs to tell him we don't need him again until December 6th, when all being well he will go back to Fontwell in the same sort of race that he won last week with such authority. Kikos went on his holidays earlier in the week, and is now settled in at Michael and Fionas. He has been a star once again this summer, and we all look forward to having him back for another crack at the Towcester race we won with him last year. Best wishes to Maurice Folley, who, unfortunately due to ill health has had to relinquish his share in Kikos - we wish him all the best for the future and thank him for his support over the past 4 seasons, we will miss seeing you in the paddock! Omaruru continues to thrive and it now looks as though a spring campaign is possibly on the cards. He will start off gently, and in the end it will be him that decides if it is possible, but fingers crossed he will get there! Sales again next week - and a catalogue of fillies at Tattersalls to go through in December - hopefully we can add to the ranks shortly!
