It has taken a very long time, and I have had to put plenty of hours in - but I have today done a deal for a new club horse. This will be great news to those that have expressed an interest in purchasing a share as a Christmas present!! The price of the horse has been agreed and he will be vetted early next week, and all being well with that, he will be back to Fences Farm by mid week. This potential new signing is a grand, big 3 yr old, by U.S stallion Marias Mon. He is grey, and looks as though he will enjoy a bit of cut in the ground. He has run several times on the flat showing distinct promise in the summer, although his form has dropped of recently. His dam was a very good mare in the States, and his grand dam was right at the top of her generation. I think he has tremendous potential for juvenile hurdles and (if he passes the vet) can't wait to get cracking with him!!
