Sunday 11 December

We hope we can keep up our fantastic record at Fakenham tomorrow where San Telm takes his place in the opening maiden hurdle. There have been six runs at the Norfolk track in the red white and black colours resulting in 4 wins 1 third and a fifth! We think a fair bit of san Telm but he has it to do to beat Jimbill, who was second last time out in a listed Cheltenham bumper. Sam takes the ride. It was chilly at Fences Farm yesterday - but new boy Montegonian warmed us all up! He really is a super stamp of a horse, and, now that he has started to settle and drop the bridle a bit he is showing us what a classy mover he is. He will continue to school this week, and we hope to debut him later this month - he is very exciting. Omaruru is looking fantastic and is on top form with himself, as it was a bit crisp yesterday he went straight to the woodchip gallop and did his trotting on there - I think he quite enjoyed himself! Smart Exit moved very well and looks in good form, and Colebrooke is on fsntastic terms with himself, he is a bit of a struggle to sit on! He just did one canter.
