I heard from Eversholt CC yesterday about a possible date for this years cricket match. They have suggested Friday 1 June which sounds good to me! It is the evening before the 4 day Jubilee weekend, which hopefully means everyone can get down and start the weekend in style. I could do with your feedback on this, as it could backfire, and plenty of you could have made plans for the weekend and be unable to attend, so if your free let me know, but if it looks like being a struggle for the majority then we can look at a date later in June. We should have at least a couple of 'racing faces' turn up, and it is a great night out for both players and supporters. We hope to put on a rounders match later on in the summer, so that the girls can show off their skills! This will hopeully be on a Sunday afternoon at Fences Farm, and will no doubt involve plenty of beer and wine!!
