Tannerman is a lovely big horse that has the sort of pedigree that should see him grace the winners circle on numerous occasions. He is by top sire Presenting, out of a half sister to top chaser Turpin Green who was also by Presenting, so this makes him a 3/4 brother to a horse that was placed in a Gold Cup!! Tannerman was a £75K 3 yr old when purchased by Trevor Hemmings and went into training with Phillip Hobbs where he was second in a bumper and fourth in a couple of Novice Hurdles. We started him over fences but that resulted in a first fence fall so he will stick to hurdles for now! He then fell when looking like he would hack up in a hurdle in Southwell. He is now starting to show his true form, finishing 2nd and 3rd on his last 2 starts.
