Tuesday 9 October
Our new boy Tannerman has worked this morning, and he has gone very well, earning himself an entry in a handicap chase at Huntingdon a week today (16th). I bought Tannerman in the spring as he is a fine big scopey horse, from a fantastic family (he is a 3/4 brother to Turpin Green who was a very good chaser, and was fourth in a Gold Cup). I knew when he came that he needed some attention to his breathing, but had not realised just how bad he was! He has had an op in the summer, and the good news is that he shows no signs of a breathing problem now, so off a mark of 92 he could well be very well handicapped! I do have just a couple of shares left in him, so if you would like to be at Huntingdon as an owner then please give me a call on 07909 518902 - it only costs £20/week!!
