Looking at the state of the ground at both Huntingdon and Soutwell, and also taking into consideration the race distances (2m 4f Soutwell, 2m 5f+ Huntingdon), and the obstacles (fixed brush hurdles Southwell, ordinary hurdles Huntingdon) we have decided to make Southwell the number one target for Tannerman next week. I will ring all members with an update later today. Musselburgh holds some interst today where the winner of Smart Exits race on Friday - Purcells Bridge, turns out again (unpenalised). The form of Fridays heat looks strong, and Purcells Bridge has gone up 17lbs in the handicap since, but gets in here off of last weeks winning mark. It will be an interesting heat, and one that should prove what a good race Smart Exit ran, as he tried to put it up to PB for a long way! The rest of the string seem in great form, and all have had a pop over the hurdles or fences this week - something they all enjoy!
