Tuesday 4 December

Shortly after second lot had pulled up at the top of the gallops this morning I get a call to say, 'We think Colebrooke would have won on Sunday'. They had just done a piece of work and Colebrooke had blitzed his way up the hill - so he seems to be in rude health! His next targets are Lingfield on 17th, or Haydock on 22nd. Benefit Cut also worked very well this morning, and is still on target for races on 13th and 14th of this month (not 15th as stated yesterday). San Telm is also in great order and continues to improve, I can't wait to see him out again (22nd or 26th)!! Tannerman will tick over for a few days, and then be prepared for a run around Christmas time. Smart Exit will be given a few days to fully get over whatever was ailing him last week, and will be aimed at a handicap hurdle on New Years Eve in Uttoxeter.SE has been dropped 4lbs, so now gets into a slightly lower grade! The only other mover this week was Genny Wren who was dropped 3lbs to 97. Tannerman was left unchanged on 95, but that is academic.
