The only entry over the weekend - Justazippy, will not be taking up her engagement. The mares race in Sandown, looked impossible on those terms. and the ground in Wincanton is very testing and may have spoilt the rest of the season. She will continue to have entries and will run when the right ground/opportunity arises. So much about getting winners is having the horses in the right races as we saw on Tuesday in Fakenham. I have planned a route for Tannerman for the next month or so. He will have a spin over fences in a Towcester handicap on January 20th before heading off to Fakenham again in February (hurdles). Colebrooke is likely to go to Leicester at the end of the month, and Smart Exit could go to Huntingdon in early Feb. SE is sound after his run but does have a slight swelling around a joint that the vet has looked at and thinks is only minor but will look again and hopefully confirm the diagnosis next week. He continues to go on the walker and be ridden around the farm.
