No - it is NO FUN!! No racing, and prospects look very poor for the rest of the week. Despite the liklihood of no racing for the foreseeable future we do have a couple of horses entered. San Telm is entered in Doncaster (3m hurdle) and Huntingdon (3m 2f Hurdle). The Huntingdon race is a Pertemps Qualifier, so in a way we would LIKE Huntingdon to be abandoned, as he will be qualified for the final at the Cheltenham festival if the race is not run on Friday. It seems as we will not be alone in hoping that the meeting is off as the race has attracted 93 entries, all of whom are hoping to qualify for a race at The Cheltenham Festival through the back door. In fairness the final is not on our radar at the moment as ST would have to go up about half a stone to get in the weights in March! Tannerman is entered in 3 races in Fakenham on Thursday (2 hurdles and a chase) and one in Doncaster on Friday (hurdle). Two of the three at fakenham look very nice for him, but again it looks unlikely that the meeting will be on! At home the horses just had a turn round the walker for an hour on Saturday morning as the gallop wasn't fit, and there wasn't quite the depth of snow to canter around on. Not a problem with that today, and they will have a good time on the snow!
