Monday 18 March

Myself and Stuarts Dad must have been mad on Saturday morning - we walked up the hill to watch second lot in a freezing, windy rain storm! We did ask ourselves why? Bob Graham was smart, he had a change of plan and decided not to come over to see his horses work - he was the winner!! The pleasing thing is that those that worked, worked well. Benefit Cut looks in good order, and will have entries in Bangor On Dee and Newbury on Saturday. Tannerman also looks in rude health and will have entries in Stratford, Towcester, Fakenham and Plumpton between Saturday and the end of the month. Both he, and BC will need the weather to dry up a bit though, as they will both appreciate a sounder surface! San Telm is still off games, and will spend a good chunk of the day out in the paddock now, as the fresh air may aid him to shift what is ailing him. Colebrooke is off to Newmarket today in preparation for his scan tomorrow - we hope to get to the bottom of why he is not 100% sound at the moment. Smart Exit is entered in Warwick on Wednesday, but we will have to think about wether he makes the trip or not, as Tom is keen to try him on some better ground which he is not likely get this week. There are 2 more options in Fontwell and Fakenham before the end of the month.
