Grassfinchs' already impressive form has been franked again in no uncertain terms! GF won her last race in Ludlow in February, giving 21lbs and a 3 length beating to Big Time Billy, who was sporting the visor for the first time. last night Peter Bowens Mare recorded her 3rd win since her defeat at the hands of the Fences Farm pocket rocket. She did this off of a revised mark of 121 (she was off of 100 in Ludlow) and in a fantastic battle up the Exeter home straight, got the better of Well Mett, who himself has been in the rudest of health and was also on a hat trick bid! This makes Grassfinchs' run all the better, and the handicapper will surely have to have a look at her when she is ready to run again in the Autumn!! All well back at Fences Farm, with the quieter summer months upon us - at least the horses had a few nice days in the sun, although I am not so sure they will have been enbjoying this mornings offerings!! Many Happy returns to my little Sister Heather, and Nephew, William, who share the same Birthday today!! Have a great day - and for Heather - they say that 'life begins today'!!
