The character in Happy Days - The Fonz was renowned for being oh so cool! Last night in Worcester, the Fences Farm version was far from cool - in fact he was downright bad!! In what looked a competitive affair he was expected to run well in first time blinkers, and had worked really well on Saturday morning. TF had other ideas - they did go off at a million miles an hour, and he did travel well for three quarters of a circuit, but then seemed to down tools as he entered the back straight. Mrs Robeson and her team will consider the next move for TF. Some good news to come out of Worcester came in the form of the Seamus Mullins trained Somchine, who was just touched off in the 2m Novices Hurdle. This franked the form of our new boy Guest Of Honour, as Somchine was 8 lengths behind GOH in a Lingfield bumper in January (in receipt of 3lbs) so it looks as though GOH is well up to winning a Novice - and I can't wait to get going with him!! One man that is also keen to see him is Kevin Foster - last night Kevin joined the Racing Club and we wish him luck with his new horses! Kevin gets his first month free - so if you would like to take advantage of our current offer please get in touch - 07909 518902, 01234 771940 or email info@nickbrownracing.co.uk . Such sad news as we reported on here yesterday, regarding the sad loss of Sir Henry Cecil. No words that I can write can do this genius trainer justice, so I will leave that to the professional wordsmiths - and there is no one better than Alistair Down in todays paper!
