Tuesday 9 July

Ed 'The Vet' Brett is sunning himself, so Sally was in this morning to scope both Tara Dancer and Ogee. TD was very clean, so we can continue with her, and Southwell is still very much on the cards for both of them. There is a niggling feeling that TD is slightly dislocating her soft palate, so she will be tried in a tongue tie at home. She is working very nicley, and is very well, and very fit, but is just not going through with her effort all the way to the end, so we will try the tongue tie to see if it helps her. Looking forward I have found a some suitable races for Benefit Cut on the 22nd and 28th of September in Plumpton and Market Rasen. The timing of these races is perfect to give him a 3 week break before potentially tackling a Listed Novice hurdle in Kempton in the middle of October! I do enjoy it when we start to put plans together for the horses - and enjoy it even more when they come off!! Fingers Crossed!!
