Monday 29 July
After a very busy few weeks we have only a handful of shares left in our horses for the forthcoming National Hunt season. There are only 3 shares remaining in Omaruru, who is in fantastic condition, and will be novice chasing this winter. Guest Of Honour is practically sold out with only 1 share remaining, he too looks in fantastic order, and will start off in a bumper before graduating to the hurdling ranks. A great run by Hillstar in the King George on Saturday, improving on his Royal Ascot win to finish third. A super run by the three year old, that will surely be a real force at 4! Mrs Robeson and her brother Sir Evelyn have a great deal to look forward to! Back at Fences Farm - with Ogee having run last week and on a spell of R&R, and Tara Dancer waiting to be transferred to a more suitable discipline, it left just Benefit Cut to do anything up the hill. He is in superb order, physically and mentally he seems to be spot on, and everyone is delighted with him! Go to www.youtube.com/nickbrownracing to view a video of his canter on Saturday morning.
